The multi-venue of Fabbrica has the necessary infrastructure to support a contemporary conference center in which might be organised seminars, workshops and conferences.

In the exhibition area of  Fabrica of Culture, has installed environmental interpretation report with integrated thematic approach of the region, through a dynamic and interactive presentation style, in order to:

  • promote and enhance of agricultural production (primary sector) and seaborne trade (tertiary sector) and the relationship between them in the Eastern Peloponnese
  • provide information about the economic and social life of the region of Tsakonia during the 19th and 20th century,
  • emergence of specific cultural identity of the wider area of ​​Tsakonia and Kynouria
  • strengthening of the tourism product of the region.

The exhibition is divided into three sections.

Α’ Chapter: From the “garden of Dionysus” to the garden of “Leonidio”

  • Gods and myths of Kynouria: The Garden of Dionysus and the cave of Ino.
  • Since ancient Kynourians to Herod Atticus: The ancient settlements of Kynouria and the ancient port of Prasies.
  • The Tsakonia in the Middle Ages: “Tzekones” and “Kastrofylakas”, the “rebel” Tsakonians.
  • Architectural masterpieces: Architecture and Nature: a harmonious dialogue, to the traces of monastic life, lofty towers, hewing the stone.
  • “Tsakonia … the specifics of isolation”, “Kaur ekokiate” – The region, The Tsakonian language, Rare artefacts – Tsakonian traditional costume and Tsakonian weaving, The Tsakonikes dance.

Β’ Chapter: From the garden of “Leonidio” to the Protected Designation of Origin
